Australian Taxation Office – Commissioner of Taxation – Appointment 2023

I, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, under section 4 of the Taxation Administration Act 1953, appoint Rob Heferen as Commissioner of Taxation, on a full-time basis, for a period of 7 years beginning on 1 March 2024.
