Australian Securities and Investments Commission (Financial Reporting Council) Appointment (No. 4) 2021
I, Michael Sukkar, Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelessness, Social and Community Housing, under subsection 235A(3) of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (the Act), appoint Lawrence Tremaine as Chair of the Financial Reporting Council, on a part-time basis, for the period 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2021.
Note: Lawrence Tremaine is a current member of the Financial Reporting Council whose
current term is due to expire on 28 April 2022.
Under subsection 235A(3) of the Act, I also repeal, with effect from 1 July 2021, the Financial Reporting Council — Appointment of Chair (2021 Appointment No. 1) and the Financial Reporting Council – Appointment of Part-time Acting Chair – 2021.
