Subregulation 12.23(3)

 

AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL BOTANIC GARDENS

 

PROHIBITION OF ENTERING AND REMAINING WITHIN THE RESERVE

 

I, Ranga Parimala, delegate for the Director of National Parks, acting pursuant to subregulation 12.23(3) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, HEREBY PROHIBIT all persons entering or remaining in the Australian National Botanic Gardens from 8:00am AST until 5.30pm AST on 21 October 2024, other than:

  1.       minimum services personnel in the performance of their duties’ and
  2.       invited guests of the Director

 

Note 1: Certain classes of person will be exempt from this prohibition by operation of subregulation 12.06(1) of the Regulations.

Note 2: For the purposes of this prohibition ‘minimum services personnel’ means authorised employees of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, the Director’s security contractor and emergency services personnel including police, fire and ambulance.
