BY-LAWS UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL AIRLINES ACT 1945-1947.*
THE Australian National Airlines Commission, in pursuance of the powers conferred on it by the Australian National Airlines Act 1945-1947, hereby makes the following By-laws.

Australian National Airlines Commission By-laws.
Citation.
1. These By-laws may be cited as the Australian National Airlines Commission By-laws.
Sale of unclaimed property.
2.—(1.) Any unclaimed goods in the possession of the Commission may be sold by the Commission and, after deducting the expenses of sale and any amount which is due to the Commission for freight, storage or other charges, the Commission shall on demand pay the surplus (if any) to the former owner of the goods.
(2.) A sale in pursuance of this by-law may be effected—
(a) in the ease of goods likely to deteriorate or to become dangerous or offensive—forthwith;
(b) in the case of a live animal—at any time after seven days after coming into the possession of the Commission; and
(c) in any other case—at any time after three months after coming into the possession of the Commission.
