REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1915.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1915 to come into operation forthwith.

Regulation No. 827 of the Australian Military Regulations 1916 (Statutory Rules 1916, No. 166) is amended by the addition of the following sub-paragraph:—
(17) Officers and employees of the Department entrusted with the duty of accepting the delivery of letters and other matter whether received through the post or otherwise shall in a book, in the following form, record the receipt of moneys, registered postal matter, and, where advisable, important articles and documents (such as Board Proceedings) so delivered to them and obtain by signature in such book receipts for any such matters or things which they shall have passed to officers or other persons concerned:—
Register of Receipt and Disposal of Moneys, Registered Postal Matter, Etc.
