AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY CLASS 2 GENERAL B-DOUBLE EXEMPTION NOTICE 2010 AMENDMENT NOTICE 2015 (No.1)

Purpose

This Notice amends Schedule 2 of the Australian Capital Territory Road Transport (Mass, Dimension and Loading) General B-Double Exemption Notice 2010 (No. 1) to update the road network available to vehicles operating under that Notice.

Note: the Australian Capital Territory Road Transport (Mass, Dimension and Loading) General B-Double Exemption Notice 2010 (No. 1) is a Notice made under ACT law (Notifiable instrument NI2010–102) before the commencement of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), but which continues to have force under the HVNL.

2. Authorising Provisions

This notice is made under s138, and section 23 of Schedule 1, of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL).

3. Commencement

This notice commences on the date it is published.

4. Title

This notice may be cited as the Australian Capital Territory Class 2 General B-Double Exemption Notice 2010 Amendment Notice 2015 (No. 1).

5. Amendment

This notice amends the Australian Capital Territory Road Transport (Mass, Dimension and Loading) General B-Double Exemption Notice 2010 (No. 1) by omitting Schedule 2 of that Notice and inserting the Schedule 2 provided in Appendix 1 of this amendment Notice.

Vehicles to which this notice applies may only use these streets when accessing ACT Road User Services – ACT Motor Vehicle Registry, Challis St and Service Stations in this locality.
Operators to which this notice applies must conduct a route assessment to determine the most suitable route to access the ACT Motor Vehicle Registry and the listed services stations.
Route assessments must be approved by the Road Transport Authority.
Operation on these routes is not permitted at the following times:

Monday to Thursday: 7.00am to 9.00am and 4.00pm to 6.30pm;

Friday: 7.00am to 9.00am and 4.00pm to 10.00pm;

Saturday: 9.00am to midday.

10. Fyshwick Industrial area:

The following restrictions apply in this area:

Barrier St – no right turn into Ipswich St.

Wollongong St – no right turn into Collie St.

11. Woolworths/Caltex Service Station, Tuggeranong Town Centre (corner Scollay St and Soward Wy Greenway)

Access and depart the Town Centre via Athllon Dr only.
Left turn from Soward Wy to enter service station; right turn into Scollay St to exit service station.
Operation on this route is not permitted at the following times:
