APPROPRIATION (WORKS AND SERVICES) (No. 2) 1963-64.

No. 34 of 1964.

An Act to authorize the issue and application, out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, of an additional sum for the service of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four, for the purposes of Additions, New Works and other Services involving Capital Expenditure, and to appropriate that sum.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Works and Services) Act (No. 2) 1963-64.

Commencement.

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Issue and application of £1,777,000.

3. The Treasurer may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply for the service of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four, the sum of One million seven hundred and seventy-seven thousand pounds.

Appropriation.

4. The sum authorized by this Act to be issued out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the service of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four is appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-three, for the purposes and services expressed in the Schedule to this Act in respect of the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four.
