BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Act (No. 2) 1985-86.
Commencement
2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Issue and application of $1 050 000
3. The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply for the services specified in the Schedule, in respect of the year ending on 30 June 1986, the sum of $1 050 000.
Appropriation
4. The sum authorized by this Act to be issued out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund is appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from 1 July 1985, for the services specified in the Schedule in respect of the financial year that commenced on that date.
Additional appropriation in respect of increases in salaries
5. Section 5 of the Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Act 1985-86 has effect, on and from the commencement of this Act, as if the reference in that section to Schedule 2 to that Act included a reference to the Schedule to this Act.
