STEVEN ROBERT TAYLOR
DELEGATE OF THE TITLES ADMINISTRATOR
ON BEHALF OF THE COMMONWEALTH-WESTERN AUSTRALIA
OFFSHORE PETROLEUM JOINT AUTHORITY
ROUTE OF THE PIPELINE
The pipeline route is described in the table hereunder and displayed in the attached map (Attachment 1), commencing at the Universal Connection System at the Wilcox A (WCA) Manifold to the Wilcox outlet Flowline End Termination (FLET) within a corridor of ±200 m (±100 m centred on the flowline). For the majority of the route the flexible flowline and the umbilical will be separated by a typical separation of 50 m. The flexible flowline and umbilical take a generally direct path in a north-easterly direction from the WCA manifold to the Wilcox outlet FLET.
All work associated with Wilcox development is as per the following coordinate system:
- Geodetic Datum: Geodetic Datum of Australia (GDA94)
- Projection: Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM)
- Vertical Datum: LAT or MSL (m)

SPECIFICATIONS
Design and Construction
Manufacturing of the flexible pipe structure is in accordance with API 17J and supplemented by
TechnipFMC standard manufacturing procedures and Woodside specifications.
The design, materials qualifications, fabrication, repair, control procedures and QA/QC system of
TechnipFMC flexible pipe structure has “Type Approval” by Bureau Veritas. It applies to static and
dynamic, sweet and sour service applications.
The issue of this certification for Type Approval was based upon validation of the design software with the results of full-scale tests performed on multiple TechnipFMC flexible pipe structures.
Two different pressure sheath materials are selected. TP37 (PVDF) has a higher maximum design temperature limit and will be used for the sections of the flowline closer to WCA. TP35 (PE) has a lower maximum design temperature limit and will be used for the remainder of the flowline. The flexible pipe layers are typical and may be subject to update.
Basis of Design
The pipeline design is based on the following parameters:
