EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. ANU College Governance Statute 2010, section 4.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rules provide for the establishment of committees and other bodies that will advise the College Head of each ANU College on matters relevant to the operation and development of the College. The memberships of the advisory groups provide for collegial contributions to College governance by staff and students.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. The Rules were made by the Council of the University on 25 May 2012.
