Anglo-Australian Telescope Agreement

An Act to amend the Anglo-Australian Telescope Agreement Act 1970.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Anglo-Australian Telescope Agreement Act 1971.
(2.) The Anglo-Australian Telescope Agreement Act 1970, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Anglo-Australian Telescope Agreement Act 1970–1971.
Commencement.
2. This Act shall come into operation on the date fixed under subjection (2.) of section 2 of the Compensation (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1971.
Compensation (Commonwealth Employees) Act to apply.
3. Section 16 of the Anglo-Australian Telescope Agreement Act 1970 is amended by omitting from sub-sections (1.) and (2.) the words “Commonwealth Employees’ Compensation Act 1930–1969” and inserting in their stead the words “Compensation (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1971”.
