Amendment of Statement of Principles

CHOLELITHIASIS

subsection 196B(2)
The Repatriation Medical Authority amends, under subsection 196B(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 (the Act), Instrument No.33 of 1994 (Statement of Principles concerning cholelithiasis) by:
1. inserting before the definition of “cholesterol stones” in paragraph 4, the following definition:
“'cholelithiasis' or gallstones means calculus of the gall bladder or bile ducts formed by accretion or concretion of bile constituents, attracting ICD code 574;”.
2. The amendments made by this instrument apply to all matters to which Instrument No.33 of 1994 and section 120A of the Act apply.
