Amendment of Statement of Principles

concerning

 

CEREBROVASCULAR ACCIDENT

 

 

Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986

 

  1. The Repatriation Medical Authority amends, under subsection 196B(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 (the Act), Instrument No.52 of 1999, as amended by Instrument No.30 of 2002, by:

 

  1. in paragraph 8, deleting the definition of “thrombocytopenia” and inserting in its place the following:

 

“thrombocytopenia” means an acquired platelet count of less than

50 000 per microlitre on haematological testing;”

 

2. The amendment made by this instrument applies to all matters to which Instrument No.52 of 1999, as amended by Instrument No.30 of 2002, and section 120A of the Act apply.
