STATUTORY RULES 1983 NO. 15
ISSUED BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE MINISTER FOR DEFENCE
AMENDMENT OF THE AIR FORCE REGULATIONS
Section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979 allows the Minister to make interim determinations amending or repealing regulations. The Act also deems such interim determinations to be Statutory Rules.
Regulation 645E of the Air Force Regulations provides for the payment of a gratuity to a member of the Air Force Emergency Force when he is called out on continuous full-time service.
These Statutory Rules repeal regulation 645E which has been replaced by Determination 0798, Gratuity for Members of the Emergency Reserve, made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.
The date of effect is the date Determination 0798 is made.
