EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
Statutory Rules no. 271 of 1983
ISSUED BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE MINISTER FOR DEFENCE
AMENDMENT OF THE AIR FORCE REGULATIONS
Section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979 allows the Minister to make interim determinations amending or repealing regulations. The Act also deems such interim determinations to be Statutory Rules.
Regulation 645D of the Air Force Regulations provides for payment of a bounty to members of the Air Force Emergency Force.
These Statutory Rules repeal regulation 645D, which has been replaced by Determination 0799, Bounty Payable to Members of the Emergency Reserve, made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.
The date of effect is the date Determination 0799 is made.
