Applicability: All models 600, 601 and 601P with S/Nos. 0001 to 0807. Document: Piper SB No. SB600-88A.
Compliance: Inspect at intervals not exceeding 200 hours time in service.
Note: Modification in accordance with Part II of SB 600-88A does not relieve inspection requirement.
Background: Reports have been received by the manufacturer of cracks developing along the upper and lower flanges of the aft spar fittings for the horizontal and vertical stabilisers.
