SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


Aerospatiale (Socata) TBM 700 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/TBM 700/9 Windshield De-Icing 2/95

Applicability: Model TBM 700 series aeroplanes with serial numbers 1 to 62, 67, 68, 70, 73 to 75,

77, 78 and 80.

 

Requirement:  Action in accordance with Socata TBM 700 Mandatory Service Bulletin SB 70-037- 30 dated October 1994, (installation of Kit OPT70 K043-30 is only mandatory if the right-hand windshield de-icing option is fitted).

 

Note: DGAC AD 94-267(B) dated 7 December 1994 refers.

 

Compliance: Either within 100 hours time in service after 2 February 1995 or during the next annual inspection, whichever occurs first.

 

Background:  Compliance with this Directive provides additional protection against Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) being conducted by the windshield de-icing system wiring.
