SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/TBM 700/33 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Amdt 1
Vertical Stabiliser Attachment Fittings 1/2005
Applicability: Model TBM 700 aircraft, serial numbers 1 through 308, and serial number 310; except aircraft with both modifications MOD70-127-55 and MOD70-129-53 incorporated in production.
Requirement: Inspect in accordance with Socata TBM 700 Service Bulletin No. SB 70-104 Revision 1, dated August 2004, or later EASA approved revision.
Note: DGAC AD F-2003-366 R1 refers.
Compliance: Following accomplishment of the initial inspection, inspect thereafter at intervals not to exceed 1,200 flight hours or every second annual inspection, whichever occurs first.
This Amendment becomes effective on 20 January 2005.
Background: Reports were received of cracks in the vertical stabiliser attachment fitting of in- service aircraft, as a result of corrosion.
Amendment 1 is issued in response to a revision of the Requirement document, which clarifies aircraft applicability.
