SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Aerospatiale (Socata) TBM 700 Series Aeroplanes
AD/TBM 700/31 Elevator Skin Bond 10/2003
Applicability: Model TBM 700 aircraft, serial numbers 90, 93 through 98, 101, 102, and 135. Requirement: Inspect in accordance with Socata TBM 700 Service Bulletin No. 70-100.
If the adhesive meniscus is partially or totally missing, before further flight, repair the elevator in accordance with the Requirement document.

Compliance: At the next 1,200 hours special elevator control requirement after 2 October 2003 or by 31 December 2003, whichever occurs first.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 October 2003. Background: Elevator skin disbonding was detected during a scheduled inspection.
