SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

 


AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE


For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.


 

Aerospatiale (Socata) TB 200 Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/TB 200/9 Nose Gear Fork 10/2003

 

Applicability: Model TB 200 aircraft, serial numbers 2054, 2074 through 2155, and 2184. Requirement:              Action in accordance with Socata Service Bulletin TB No. 10-138, dated May 2003.

Note: DGAC AD 2003-285(A) refers.

 

Compliance: At the next major inspection after 2 October 2003 or before 31 December 2003, whichever occurs first.

 

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 October 2003.

 

Background: This Directive requires inspection of the nose gear fork grain structure, due to the possibility of inverted material grain flow which may have occurred as a result of an incorrect manufacturing process.
