Amdt 1

Applicability: All models;


Aileron Control Cables 9/86

 

SA227-TT with S/N TT 421 to 555.

 

SA277-AT with S/N AT 423 to 591 except Expediter. SA277-AC with S/N AC 406, 415, 416, and 420 to 599.

Requirement: Action in accordance with Fairchild Aircraft Corporation S.B. No. 227-27-015.

 

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 200 hours time in service after 30 September 1986 or at the next scheduled letter check B after 30 September 1986, whichever occurs first.

 

Background: The manufacturer has advised of possible aileron control cable wear resulting from contact with the aileron trim tab cable pulley at a specified location.
