AD/SM-205/38 Landing Gear Rod Springs 9/97
Applicability: All models S.208 and S.208A.
Requirement: Action in accordance with SIAI Marchetti SB 205B59.
Note: RAI AD 97-143 refers
Compliance: Within 50 hours time in service after 14 August 1997 or at the next inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 14 August 1997, whichever occurs first.
This airworthiness directive becomes effective on 14 August 1997.
Background: The manufacturer has discovered that certain springs Part Number S205-6-205-13 had been manufactured from undersize wire.
