SIAI Marchetti S205 and S208 Series Aeroplanes
AD/SM-205/37 Flap Cable Pulley Brackets 13/95
Applicability: Models S205, S208 and S208A aircraft.
Requirement: Replace and inspect flap cable pulley brackets and pulleys in accordance with SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin 205B60.
Note: RAI AD 95-237 refers.
Compliance: At the next inspection for issue of a Maintenance Release or within 100 hours time in service after 7 December 1995, whichever is occurs first.
Background: The Italian airworthiness authority reports a case of flap cable failure due to misalignment of the pulley brackets. This AD requires the replacement of certain pulley brackets with improved brackets and pulleys, and inspection of other brackets and pulleys for correct alignment and wear.
