Applicability: All models with S/Nos. 340A-003 to -048.
Requirement: Action in accordance with SAAB-Fairchild S.B. SF340-27-018.
Note: Swedish AD No 1-006 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 31 October 1985.
Background: Analysis/tests have demonstrated that it is necessary to reduce the range of travel imposed by the rudder limiter mechanism in the higher speed range to fully comply with the certification requirements.
