Horizontal Stabilizer Rear Spar 4/86
Applicability: All model SD3-60 with S/Nos SH3601 to SH3678. Requirement: Action in accordance with Shorts SB SD360-55-06 R1. Compliance: Prior to 4800 hours total time in service.
Background: The manufacturer reports instances of the existing standard blind rivets in the horizontal stabilizer becoming loose. The rivets attach the bottom skin to the rear spar. This Directive is amended to change the compliance requirement in accordance with Revision 1 of the Service Bulletin.
