Eurocopter AS 332 (Super Puma) Series Helicopters
AD/S-PUMA/14 Swashplate Scissors 10/93 DM
Applicability: All AS 332 C, C1, L and L1 helicopters fitted with swashplate rotating and non- rotating scissor links P/N 330A31-1407-22 installed with carbide swivel bearings.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Eurocopter Telex Service Nr 10063.S1/0176/93 dated 25 June 93. Telex Service No 01-36 R1 refers.
Note: DGAC AD 93-106-050(B) refers.
Compliance: Within 10 hours time in service from 30 July 1993.
Background: The manufacturer has advised that a rotating scissors link suffered an in-flight failure in the shank bending radius of the swivel bearing.
