Applicability: All model S-76A Helicopters fitted with main rotor blades prior to S/N A086-01461. Requirement: Sikorsky Alert S.B. 76-65-36. Amdt 1.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, as detailed in the requirement document.
Background: 1. The manufacturer has advised that an operator has experienced the loss of a main rotor blade tip block.
2. This Directive is amended to include an amendment to the Requirement Document, the intent of which results in changes to certain inspection criteria and the addition of a calendar compliance time.
