Radio Communication and Navigation Equipment

 

AD/RAD/19 “Aircom” VHF Transceiver - Modification 1/68

Applicability: “AIRCOM” LVC-4 series Transceivers below S/No. 499.

 

Requirement: Modify the equipment to reduce harmonic radiation from the trans-mitter to at least 40 decibels below the mean carrier level, and to ensure that the receiver radiations are not more than 50 millimicro watts.

 

Note: A suitable band pass filter installed in the transmission line close to the transceivers is an acceptable method of compliance.
