VHF Transceiver - Modification 6/66

 

Applicability: All AN/ARC/1 series VHF Transceivers.

 

Requirement: Modify the equipment to reduce second harmonic radiation from the transmitter to a level at least 40 db. below the carrier power at the fundamental frequency.

 

Note: Tests carried out on several units indicate that at least 25 db. additional attenuation of a second harmonic power will be necessary to ensure a total attenuation of 40 db. in all cases.
