Robinson R22 Series Helicopters

 

AD/R22/17 Clutch Lock Switch - Modification 5/83

Applicability: All model R22 Series with S/Nos. 0002 to 0225. Requirement:  Robinson S.B. 29.

Note: Robinson Safety Notice No. 14 should be read in conjunction with the compliance document.

 

Compliance: Within 25 hours time in service after 15th April 1983.

 

Background:  By allowing the actuator to be active in flight, it can maintain the proper belt tension and provide an important warning of an impending failure of the Vee-belts, actuator bearings, or other drive system components.
