AD/R22/11 Clutch Shaft Plug Installation - Inspection 2/82

Applicability: Model R22 with S/Nos. 002 to 0226. Document:  Robinson Mandatory SB No. 16.

Compliance: Within 25 hours time in service after 11 January 1982.

 

Background:  Incorrect fitment of a clutch shaft plug reduced the airspace available within the clutch housing, resulting in displacement of a clutch forward seal by fluid expansion during normal heat buildup.
