AD/PW100/3 Fuel Pump Outlet Filter Cover 5/91

Applicability: All PW100 series engines.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of Transport Canada Airworthiness Directive CF-90-21.
Note: Netherlands Airworthiness Directive 90-130 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 30 April 1991.
Background: This Directive requires modification of the engine driven fuel pump outlet filter cover assembly. This requirement reflects the requirements of Transport Canada AD CF- 90-21, and advice of a recent in-flight fuel leak event involving an Australian registered DHC-8. Investigation of this event indicated the leak source to be a cut fuel pump outlet filter cover O-ring.
