Applicability: All R212/4-30-4/22, R212/4-30-4/22/1 and R251/4-30-4/49 propellers.

 

Requirement: Inspect the hub front wall/snout radius area for evidence of cracking in accordance with Dowty Rotol SB 61-1053 Revision 2.

 

Note: Hubs previously exempt or certified as having complied with AD/PR/20 must be reinspected in accordance with this Directive.

 

Compliance: In accordance with the Requirement Document.

 

Background: Cracks have been found in the front wall/snout radius area in a limited number of hubs modified to VP 2388 standard.
