Pitts S-1 and S-2 Series Aeroplanes
AD/PITTS S-2/10 Rudder Control Cable Sleeves - Inspection 7/76
Applicability: All models with rudder cables of Pitts manufacture.
Requirement: 1. Inspect all “NICROPRESS” sleeves on rudder cable terminations for correct pressing; or
2. Replace rudder cables with cables of local manufacture.
Note: FAA AD 43-13-1, Chapter 4, contains information for checking NICOPRESS cable fittings.
Compliance: Before further flight after 11 June 1976.
