Propeller Feather Assist Spring Kit 1/86
Applicability: 1. All model HC-E ( ) Y ( ) -2 ( ) ( ) counterweight propellers.
2. All model ( ) HC- (*) (2,3) Y ( ) -2 ( ) ( ) counterweight propellers on all model aircraft. (*) except “E” extension.
Requirement: 1. Hartzell Service Letter No 101.
2. Hartzell Service Bulletin No 114D.
Compliance: 1. Before installation in an aircraft following next reconditioning after 30 September 1977.
2. At next overhaul, recondition or repair necessitating disassembly, whichever is the sooner.
Background: This Directive is amended to include the requirement for incorporation of the Feather Assist Spring Kit to the “C” type (compact hub) propellers.
