AD/PA-46/7 Oxygen System Electrical Wiring Rerouting 12/84

Applicability: All models PA-46-310P with S/Nos 46-8408001 to 46-8408035 and 46/8408038 to 46-8408040.

 

Requirement: Piper Service Bulletin No 791.

 

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 December 1984.

 

Background: Reports have been received of inadvertent illumination of the oxygen system annunciator light. This is due to the electrical wiring contacting and chafing the right hand centre seat base bracketry and/or the aileron cables located below the oxygen bottle drawer.
