Amdt 2


Aileron Cable Routing 6/96

 

Applicability: All Model PA-46-310P with serial numbers 46-8408001 through 46-8608067, and 4608001 through 4608066.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Piper Service Bulletin 863A.

 

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 100 hours time in service after 23 May 1996.

 

The compliance of the previous issue of this Directive is changed to reflect the alteration to applicability. This Amendment is effective from 23 May 1996.

 

Background: Reports were received of the aileron control cables chafing the flap track bracket.

Amendment 1 required a modification to be incorporated.

 

Amendment 2 is issued to align aircraft serial number applicability of this Directive with the Requirement Document.
