Piper PA-46 (Malibu) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/PA-46/12 Alternate Air Control Linkage 1/87

Applicability: Piper PA-46 aircraft which have complied with Service Letter No 985 Part II, dated 18 April 1986.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Piper Service Bulletin No 852.

 

Compliance: Unless previously accomplished, prior to the issue of the next Maintenance Release after 31 January 1987.

 

Background:  The manufacturer has determined through engineering tests that conditions may exist that would prevent selection of alternate induction air when the primary air source is cut off.
