Applicability: PA-42-1000 Cheyenne 400LS with S/Nos: 42-5527002 through 42-5527006

42-5527008 through 42-5527021

 

42-5527023 through 42-5527032.

 

Requirement: Action in accordance with Piper S.B. No. 835. Compliance:  Within 50 hours time in service after 31 July 1986.

Background: Reports have been received of wire damage caused by contact of the engine electrical harness and starter generator cables with the wing leading edge inboard nose rib.
