Piper PA-38 (Tomahawk) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/PA-38/26 Carburettor Air Box Valve 12/86

Applicability: PA-38-112 series, with serial numbers 38-78A0001 through 38-82A0122. Requirement:               Action in accordance with Piper Service Bulletin No. 851.

Compliance: Unless previously accomplished, at the next periodic inspection after 31 December 1986.

 

Background:  The manufacturer has received reports of screws vibrating loose in the carburettor air box valve assembly.
