Pre-Certification Requirements - Modifications 7/82

 

Applicability: All models PA-36-285, PA-36-300 and PA-36-375. Requirement:  Unless already accomplished,

  1. Modify the aeroplane in accordance with the requirements of ANO 101.22 in respect of the following:

 

1.1         Install a “No Smoking” placard in a conspicuous position in the cockpit.

 

2.             Install and identify :

 

(a)    Fuelling equipment bonding points at each fuel filling point.

 

(b)    External earthing points for the attachment of ground connections at each main undercarriage assembly.

 

3.             For aeroplanes certified in the agricultural category, the spray boom pressure gauge and its associated lines together with any other spray equipment shall be so installed as to prevent the release of spray liquid or vapour into the pilot’s compartment.

 

Compliance: Not later than 1 January 1983 or before certification, whichever occurs first.

 

Background: The modifications to the spray system are required to prevent spray or spray vapour collecting in the pilot’s compartment area.
