Piper PA-34 (Seneca) Series Aeroplanes

 

AD/PA-34/8 Wing Walk - Inspection and Modification 12/72

Applicability: Model PA34-200 with S/Nos. 34-7250001 to 34-7250037, 34-7250039 to 34-

7250068, 34-7250070, 34-7250072, 34-7250073, 34-7250075, 34-7250076, 34-

7250078, 34-7250079, 34-7250083, 34-7250084, 34-7250092, 34-7250094.

 

Requirement: Part 1

 

Inspect the wing walk leading edge for evidence of looseness. If the condition exists, replace wing walk prior to further flight.

 

Note: Certification will not be necessary for this inspection which may be performed by the pilot.

 

Part 2

 

Replace the wing walk as necessary and install a retainer as detailed in Piper SB LDB-20.

 

Compliance: Inspection - Prior to each flight until incorporation of the modification. Modification - Within 25 hours time in service after 18 December 1972.
