AD/PA-32/53 Engine Control Rod End Bearings - Inspection
and Replacement

Applicability: Models PA32-260 with S/Nos. 32-1111 to 32-7700013. PA32-300 with S/Nos. 32- 40566 to 32-7740040. PA32R-300 with S/Nos. 32R-7680001 to 32R-7780215.
Requirement: 1. Inspect the rod end bearing assemblies attached to the mixture, throttle and propeller governor control cables for comparison with the illustration.
2. If a rod end bearing is installed as identified in the illustration as number one (1), it should be replaced with a rod end bearing corresponding to number two (2) or number three (3) of the illustration.
Compliance: Within 25 hours time in service after 22 November 1977.
