Applicability: All models PA-31 and PA-31-325 with S/Nos. 31-7712059 31-7912094. All model PA-31-350 with S/Nos. 31-7752101 to 31-7952185.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Piper SB No. 664. Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 29 February 1980.
Background: A possibility exists on the referenced aeroplanes of the elevator torque tube attachment to the elevator butt ribs having anchor nuts which do not meet the self locking requirement.
