Modification - Placard and Spray Equipment 4/84

 

Applicability: All models PA-25, PA-25-235 and PA-25-260. Requirement:  Unless already accomplished,

  1. Install a “No smoking” placard on the instrument panel.

 

2.    Modify or relocate the spray boom pressure gauge and its associated plumbing to prevent the release of spray liquid or vapour into the pilots compartment.

 

3.    Install a non-return valve at the hopper end of the spray pressure filling system. Compliance:              Before issue of an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness.

Background: The modifications to the spray system are required to prevent spray or spray vapour collecting in the pilots compartment area. This amendment raised to allow operators to propose alternate means of modifying the spray boom pressure gauge and its plumbing.
