Amdt 2


Wing Forward Spar - Inspection and Modification 5/76

 

Applicability: All models PA-25-235 and PA-25-260 with S/Nos. prior to 25-7405573. Requirement:               1. Inspect the left and right wing forward spar in accordance with Piper SB 410.

2.    Modify the left and right wing forward spar by fitting Piper Kit No. 760840 in accordance with Piper SB 414.

 

3.    Inspect the inboard end of left and right forward spar which have been modified in accordance with para. 2 for cracks or signs of distress paying particular attention to the area at the outboard ends of the reinforcing plate.

 

Compliance: For Para. 1 - At intervals not exceeding 300 hours time in service until modified.

 

For Para. 2 - Not later than next major inspection after 31 July 1974.

 

For Para. 3 - At intervals not exceeding 1200 hours time in service or 2 years whichever occurs first.
