Amdt 2


Tail Wheel Spring Bolts - Replacement 9/70

 

Applicability: Model PA-25 and model PA-25-235 and variants of that model not fitted with two bolts retaining the tail wheel assembly to the spring or not modified to an alternative scheme approved by the Secretary.

 

Requirement: 1. Replace the AN6-25A bolt securing the front of the spring with a new AN6-25A bolt.

 

2. Replace the AN7-21A bolt securing the tail wheel assembly to the spring with a new AN7-21A bolt.

 

Note: Replacement of the AN6 bolt at the front of the spring by an AN7 bolt and the AN7 bolt securing the tail wheel assembly by an AN8 bolt constitutes an alternative approved scheme.

 

Compliance: At intervals not exceeding 35 hours time in service after 1 Sept. 1971.
