AD/P68/32 Longitudinal Trim System 9/89 DM

Applicability: All models.

 

Requirement: Check the stabilator trim system and adjust as necessary to the requirements specified in the aircraft Maintenance Manual.

 

Compliance: Within 25 hours time in service after 12 July 1989 and thereafter every 50 hours time in service.

 

Background: This aircraft has a long history of trim related problems. Those and a recent Authority test programme have highlighted certain deficiencies within the trim system. Only a high level of maintenance integrity will ensure continued safe operation of the trim system in it’s current configuration.
