Amdt 1


Throttle Lever Screw - Replacement NK

 

Applicability: Walter M337 and M332 engines.

 

Requirement: Replace the throttle lever clamping screw with a standard 4mm x 20mm bolt and steel stop nut or a castellated nut and 1mm split pin in accordance with accompanying drawing.

 

Accomplishment instructions:

 

  1. Remove the throttle lever from the throttle shaft, and enlarge the clamping screw bore to 4.2 + 0.1mm.

 

2.    Fit lever to throttle shaft, eliminate backlash and enlarge the throttle lever groove to accommodate a standard 4mm bolt.

 

3.    Fit the bolt, castellated nut and split pin or steel stop nut and check the rigging of the lever.

 

Note: The P/N's of the bolt, nuts and pin listed in SBs M332/22 and M337/11 correspond with the Czechoslovakian national standard for 4mm x 20mm bolt, castellated nut or steel stop nut, and 1mm split pins.
