Aerospatiale Rallye Series Aeroplanes
AD/MSR/32 Nose Landing Gear - Wheel Axle 5/95
Applicability: All Morane Saulnier and Rallye aeroplanes as listed in Socata Service Bulletin 150/2 Amendment 2.
Requirement: 1. Remove Nose landing gear wheel axle and, using dye penetrant, inspect for cracks.
Inspect in accordance with Socata Service Bulletin 150/2 Amendment 2, Description, paragraph 1.
2. Remove Nose landing gear wheel axle and, using dye penetrant, inspect for cracks. Re-install axle with new bolts washers and locknuts. Inspect in accordance with Socata Service Bulletin 150/2 Amendment 2, Description, paragraph 2.

Compliance: 1. Inspect in accordance with Requirement 1 before 500 hours time in service, or within 50 hours time in service from 27 April 1995 whichever is the later. Re- inspect at intervals not to exceed 500 hours time in service.
2. Inspect in accordance with Requirement 2 before 2000 hours time in service or within 50 hours time in service from 27 April 1995 whichever is the later. Re- inspect at intervals not to exceed 2000 hours time in service.
Background: Reports have been received that fatigue cracks could form in the nose landing gear wheel axle and that the axle attaching bolts could fail over time.
This AD inspects for cracks and replaces the bolts at regular intervals.
